The Answers You Need
COVERAGE refers to the time spent by our cinematographer(s) filming your wedding. Depending on your package there might be two or three cinematographers working. Having this team allows us to cover more angles and capture more footage. It is especially helpful to have multiple people on cameras during the ceremony, first look, or reception dances and speeches.
WHAT IS COVERAGE?
A CINEMATOGRAPHER as compared to a videographer, is a term to describe their attention to capture more of a story-based film. All of our cinematographers at Dream Stone Media have been trained by Aryan Sehgal on how to shoot in his style and how to work as a team to ensure the best final result for you, the wedding couple. We like to think of ourselves as professional filmmakers who shoot weddings.
WHAT IS A CINEMATOGRAPHER?
A FEATURE FILM is the main piece created from your wedding footage and depending on the chosen package and amount of coverage recorded at your wedding, it can be from 3-7 minutes long. This film is the best edit that we can create and features detailed story-based video editing, audio design, colour correction, and industry standard file processing. This Cinematic Highlights Film is included in our Gold & Platinum Packages.
All of our package come with a CEREMONY FILM & SPEECHES FILM. Like the name suggests, it is a longer form edit that will capture the ceremony and reception speeches in their entirety. We weave together multiple camera angles with high quality audio to showcase your special day. This edit feels quite different from our Feature Film as there is less narrative editing involved, it focuses more on showcasing your wedding day as it happened. A DOCUMENTARY FILM goes beyond the traditional ceremony and speeches films, this extended version features all the heartwarming first dances, grand entrances, intimate first looks, and more. The Documentary Film is available as an add-on for the Essentials and Gold Package but is included in the Platinum Package.
